SDPL Week 7 Recap: Chula Vista FC Trying To Stay In The Race

SAN DIEGO, CA (November 18, 2024) - A handful of games into the season and the Southwest Premier League's reigning champion finds itself chasing a new leader.

Chula Vista FC, the SWPL champs, played to a 5-5 draw against White Tigers FC on Saturday, Nov. 16, while Noah Hyde had three goals as Cuervos FC San Diego continues to run away from the pack after defeating Rebels SC II 9-0 on Sunday, Nov. 17.

Kevin Martinez had three goals for Chula Vista (3-2-0 overall), while Jason Hsiao added two for Cuervos FC (5-1-0), which leads all SWPL clubs with a +39 goal differential this fall season.
